Last Day - Day 14
Okay so its been a long 2 weeks but went by much faster than I had expected. Thank you all very much who read my blog and showed interest in the things I decided to write about. I hope it was educational, inpirational, and any other "ional" it could have been (all positive things though!) For those that are still interested in reading my blog, I will do my best to be better at keeping you up to date with my life's activities, thoughts, or anything in between. Congrats and good luck to those of you that participated in BufBloPoFo09!!!!

Day 13! 1 year update
Okay so I have 2 posts that are close to each other. A post March 24th last year was about Dyngus Day. Nothing to update there....April 4th I do have a huge update to present to you guys. That is when I wrote about my back surgery! Compared to before surgery, I am so much better! I definitely wouldn't take the procedure back (no pun intended) if presented the option. I don't have any more sciatic nerve pain shooting down my legs, and I haven't had major instances where I have to drop to the floor in severe agony. I do admit that I should be doing more PT though, as I don't feel like I can run a marathon or do a 20 mile bike ride or anything without negative implications.... but I think it still can be done :)
Here is a gross pics in case you wanted to see what the incision looks like after a discectomy :) Katie took this so I could see what it looked like....

Day 12
Its so hard to give advice about children when, you yourself, hasn't had them yet! From an outsider looking in, I've observed different parent-child relationships and can say some of the concepts or rules that I would like to instill with my own offspring.
- Bed times are what they are. I need my quiet time just as you need your sleep time. If you don't like it, you can stare deep into your dark room (or dimmly lit room) just as I had to do when I was a kid.
- Please, thank you, and no thank you will be used regularly!
- Kid stuff is kid stuff, but don't let it get out of hand in public, otherwise I will threaten them with FATHER BAKER ! He scared the hell out of me when I was a kid!
- French fries and chips are not the only group in the food pyramid...try something new each week...if you didn't like it...try it again in a few years. Your taste buds change!
Not a very long list, but I'm sure as fatherhood approaches, this list will grow exponentially!

Day 11
Ohhh what a rough picture. Katie just went to bed (on BufBloPoFo day 10), and I was getting ready to do some blogging and blogger reading. My white undershirt I've been wearing all day, and a nice warm pair of Canisius sweats to boot. I got home from work today, took off my nice shirt, so that I can cook a fabulous meal of lasagna without polka dotting it with tomato sauce. I literally just got done cooking the lasagna at about 11:45p.m. and decided to start my blog for tomorrow (which by the time I post will be today or Day 11!!) Nothing wrong with getting a head start on the wonderful Tuesday that it is going to be....hopefully anyways! Enjoy!

MY HEERRROOOOOOO - Day 10
Well I have 2 people who inspire me that I look up to. The first is on a personal level. That would be my mom. On a business level , the second person that inspires me is my cousin Rob Zybczynski. I will talk about Rob first, seeing that I should save the best for last (hi mom!) Rob is a manager at the company I work at, United Stationers/Azerty Inc. He's earned his MBA and even owned his own business at one point. He is highly respected by everyone that comes in contact with him, and they look up to him for his infinite knowledge and valuable advice. I hope that one day I could be in a position such as him, where people walk away from our conversation saying, "Man I'm glad he was able to help me become a smarter/better__(fill in the blank).
The second inspiration in my life is my mother. She's tried so long and hard to teach me many things in which I carry with me today such as good manners, understanding, and acceptance. Some things that she's tried to teach me that I am still "learning the hard way" would be patience, money management, and patience....oh wait... :) I feel she's done so many things with the lemons that life has handed her, that it amazes me that she was so strong not only for herself, but for myself and my sister included. I was not the easiest teenager to deal with, yet she never did kill me like she always said she was going to :) I'm just so proud of the country girl she has become, from the hard knock life she grew up in!!
LOVE YOU MOM! I don't think I can say that enough, and every day I wish that you were closer in body, although I know we grow so much closer in heart each and every day.
